HOW TO BEGIN & Contact information

Many times using large databases can be confusing because of the vast amount of information.  We have therefore organized the Library in a topical manner so that you can quickly find subject matter that interests you.  The Library is formatted so that you can scroll through to view the Topic and Titles of the teachings within each grouping.

Although many people prefer to listen to individual titles across a spectrum of topics, most believe that it is more productive to focus on one topic at a time. This allows for all the teachings within that topic to refine your understanding.  However, it is entirely up to you.

If you do choose to study by selecting all titles within a specific topic, you will find some important teaching points that are repeated as a way of emphasis.

Since, as Christians, we are all on a moving path to maturity, your individual focus will be unique.  If you would like to speak personally, please send me an email and include your phone number and I will call you at my first opportunity.

The individual teachings (Titles), are generally 40-60 minutes each. Each teaching has a written outline that contains scripture references, notes and comments tagged to the timeline of the audio. For instance, in the Topic "What Christians Believe", the teaching entitled "I Believe In" # 901004-5 has the following Timeline and notations:

# 901004-5               I BELIEVE IN
I believe in God,
the Father almighty,
Creator of heaven and earth,
and in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord,
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died and was buried;
he descended into hell;
on the third day he rose again from the dead;
he ascended into heaven,
and is seated at the right hand of God the Father almighty;
from there he will come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy catholic Church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and life everlasting. Amen.

3:00 The Apostles Creed. Not written by any of the apostles, but the expressed faith of the apostles as seen in the scripture. It is a synopsis of what the New Testament teaches as the Christian belief.

7:00 The origin of the creed came from the line of questioning presented to a candidate for baptism. The candidate would say – I believe in God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son and the Holy Spirit.

14:00 The Greek and Latin illuminate the emphasis on; "I believe IN" which is intended to show a relationship. Man trusting in God.

17:10 Isaiah 7:9b “…If you do not stand firm in your faith, you will not stand at all”.

26:00 The belief is not in any God (Theism) but a very specific God – Father-Son-Holy Spirit. Expressed in the Son Jesus the Christ. That is why we call ourselves Christians. God has created us in his image which means in part; we are able to communicate with him (a relationship), and we have Free Will – we can reject God if we wish.

28:00 Revelation 3:20 The Lord stands at our door knocking but we must let him in.

29:20 2 Corinthians 4:2 The Gospel message is to be taken forth without deception, manipulation, extra emotional appeal. It is presented by setting forth the truth plainly and clearly.

36:00 Our faith is not a quantitative thing, but the question is: what is the Object of our faith? What is our faith in. Faith matures and strengthens often by the assurance gained from our experience. We witness God at work and our trust in him strengthens.

38:00 Isaiah 30:12-15. Verse 15; “In repentance and rest is your salvation, in quietness and trust is your strength, but you would have none of it." Trust is the key: A synonym for faith as meant in the scripture is TRUST.

42:40 Hebrews 11:6 “ and without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him”. Faith- Trust is essential to a real relationship.

44:40 John 3:15-16 Those who believe (Trust) in God will have an eternal relationship with him.

47:40 Belief, Faith, Trust, all produce the fruit of Commitment. What does God expect as far as commitment ?
We need to commit as much as we know about ourselves to as much as we know about Him. Next year I should know more about myself (more to commit), and I should know more about the Lord (more to commit to).

56:15 John 7:38-39 “Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, streams of living water will flow from within him”. By this he meant the Spirit, whom those who believed in him were later to receive. Our belief is not just that there was a Jesus, historically, and that he may be God, but our trust that the Holy Spirit will indwell us so that we will have an impact on the world for the kingdom.

58:40 Romans 10:13-15 Faith comes from hearing the Gospel message taught plainly and clearly – it is that environment in which the Spirit moves upon those hearers to sift the doubters from the believers. He knocks but they have to have the will to open the door.

63:30 Mark 9:21-24 “I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief”. Are we willing to be deepened, so that our moments of lesser trust are fewer and fewer as we mature.

In addition to the audio files and the Timeline outlines of scriptural references, notes and comments (the sample above), there is also a searchable Excel database which contains each teaching, each Scripture reference, a short note and the catalog number of the individual title. See Sample Below:
